Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rufus, the chill boy that loves nothing more than to hang out and watch the newest episode of the real housewives...or the vampire diaries for the 4th time, he doesn't judge. Rufus loves other dogs and will try to get even the most shy ones to play with him. At a hefty 70 pounds he is a gentle giant that walk great on leash and is just a go with the flow type of dude. Rufus is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and ready to find his new home.
From a volunteer: "Meet Rufus, a lovable and playful two-year-old male dog who's ready to find his forever family! Rufus is already neutered, up to date on all his vaccines, and microchipped, so he's all set to head home with you. This handsome guy has the heart and energy of a big puppy-he's always ready for adventure and loves going on walks. However, Rufus can get a little too excited sometimes, which means he might pull on the leash now and then. But with a little guidance, he quickly calms down and listens well.
Rufus is a smart boy and knows some basic commands, so he's already off to a great start in terms of training. He's also a great listener, making him eager to please and learn more! When it comes to cats, Rufus is laid-back and doesn't show any signs of aggression towards cats, in fact, he mostly ignores them, so he might be a good fit for a home with feline friends.
If you're looking for a sweet, energetic companion who has a big puppy spirit but is also well-behaved, Rufus could be the perfect addition to your family!"
