Why I need a new home

Human health issues (e.g. allergies, sickness)

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lovelly was a 68th birthday gift from my then 15-year-old grand-neph-boo who told me that I need a puppy to love. He was so right. Lovelly is a 2-year-old bully-mix. She is spayed and up to date with all immunizations. She is house-trained and notifies you when needing to go out. She can be very energetic, really inquisitive, loves treats and hugs. She gets along well with cats, children and puppies.

I am now 70 years old, in declining health and somewhat disabled. I simply am not able to provide the type of life that Lovelly deserves. It has become increasingly difficult to walk or provide Lovelly with the type of attention and energetic exercise that she needs. She spends the majority of her time here with me underfoot. It is not the life a healthy dog deserves and I recognize that I simply cannot care for her in the manner she is entitled to. The older I get the more I recognize she should be around lively children and healthy adults. I want her with a loving family.
