Sherpa (originally called Snowy at the shelter) was just rescued from a Dallas shelter and picked up by his new foster mom. She made a stop at a self-service dog wash place because this poor boy needed a bath so badly! Sherpa handled the bath quite well, even smiling for the camera as she took photos.
Sherpa is a Poodle who is 12 years old and weighs 13 pounds. He is blind and almost totally deaf which is why he was at risk of euthanasia at the shelter. But his foster mom tells us that he is SUPER sweet - look at him smiling while getting his bath. Sherpa had a great first night in his new foster home - he slept very peacefully. Then he went to the groomer and he looks handsome - check out the photos above!
As we learn more about Sherpa, we will share the information with everyone. But this sweet little senior boy will be looking for a retirement home where he can live out the rest of his days feeling safe & loved.
If you're interested in Sherpa, please fill out an adoption application at www.northstarpets.org and ask for SHERPA TX!
