Meet Jude! Jude was born here in our shelter, and has become a favorite of our staff. He is so very sweet, and one of the most chill cats we have ever had. He does like to play with the other kittens, and loves to play with toys as well, but his favorite thing is to be loved on by humans. His purr is loud and easily lets you know how happy he is to be loved.

Jude is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, and tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV.

We welcome interested adopters to visit with various adoptable pets 10am - 4pm Tuesday through Saturday at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo, MI. No appointment is necessary.

Please allow at least an hour for the adoption process.

There are exceptions, but typically adoptions are the same day.

We know our pet photos are adorable, but it's best to select your companion based on their personality and compatibility with your family and lifestyle. It is important to that you bring any children with you to meet potential pets. We also recommend that all family members be present for an adoption. Spending quality time with any potential pet is key. This will help ensure that your potential pet is the best possible fit for everyone in the family. We welcome all adopters, from any county or state.

We prefer if you complete an application prior to meeting the animals so we can help you make a great match.

Our shelter is located at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo in southern lower Michigan about 20 miles north of the Ohio border.

The Greater Hillsdale Humane Society is a nonprofit, privately funded organization dedicated to promoting the welfare of companion animals in Hillsdale County, Michigan. This is accomplished through education, quality and compassionate care of the animals received at the shelter, and community outreach. GHHS obtains funding through donations, fees for services, and fundraisers.
