My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bebe`s Compatibility:
Dogs - No, thank you
Cats - None of those either
Kids - Yes, 14+

Bebe is a brave girl who`s been through a lot, but she’s still full of love and spirit. She has a condition called Megaesophagus, which means her esophagus doesn’t move food into her stomach the way it should. To help her thrive, Bebe needs a raised feeder and a thickening agent called `Thick It` added to her water. This condition requires lifelong management, so her future family should work with their vet to ensure she stays happy and healthy.

Despite her challenges, Bebe is housebroken and just wants a quiet, loving home where she can be the only pet. She needs a family with kids 14 or older who can understand her special needs and give her the care she deserves.

Bebe has overcome so much, and she’s ready for a fresh start with someone who will love her unconditionally. Could that be you? Come meet Bebe and give her the forever home she’s been waiting for!

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
