Bio:
Hello there! My name is Damon Salvatore, and I might just be the dashing vampire companion you've been looking for. Despite my centuries of life experience, I have a youthful charm and a mischievous streak that keeps life interesting. I've learned a lot about loyalty and love through the years, especially in my relationships with family and friends.

I'm seeking a forever home with someone who understands that while I may have a bit of a dark past, I'm committed to turning over a new leaf and being the best companion I can be. I do have some special needs, like avoiding sunlight (I'll need plenty of shade or protective gear if we're out during the day), but I promise to make up for it with my unwavering loyalty and protectiveness.

If you're looking for a companion who will always have your back and bring a bit of excitement and mystery into your life, look no further than Damon Salvatore. Adopt me today and let's start our forever adventure together!

Damon is available for adoption at the Plaquemines Campus at 455 F. Edward Hebert Blvd in Belle Chasse. We are open Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 5pm. For any questions, please call 504-934-6931 or email plaqueminescampus@laspca.org.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The LA/SPCA pet adoption process includes meeting with a matchmaker to match your lifestyle with the perfect companion. You will spend time with any of the pets you think would be a great companion. You may even want to come back another day to make sure he is the one! All of our animals must be spayed or neutered before you can take them home. Sometimes your perfect companion has not had this procedure done, so please be patient with us if you have to come back to pick him up.

All of our animals have been spayed or neutered before they are released for adoption. We encourage anyone with animals to spay or neuter their pets.

More about this shelter

Chartered in 1888, the Louisiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (LA/SPCA) is the oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization in the state. Our mission is to advocate for the animals of Louisiana by advancing their welfare, promoting their interests, and fostering the human-animal bond through innovative programs, education, and service.

The LA/SPCA is not a state, parish or city governed shelter. We are an independent 501(c)3 non-profit offering a broad range of services and programs including advocacy, legislative services, statewide cruelty investigations, sheltering, full-service animal control (Orleans Parish only), adoption, disaster response, education, and obedience programs.
