My name is Baffin!

Baffin is on the hunt for his family! Baffin has adjusted really well and is ready to find his forever home. He is a little timid at first meeting, but he is happy for pets. I got to meet him for the first time the other day to give him a nail trim. He was in a strange place with strange people that he had never met, but he stood there so nice while I quickly tipped all of his nails. Not a flinch or sound out of him. At the moment, he seems to gain his confidence from his trusted person. As his confidence grows in the person caring for him, he will gain more confidence elsewhere in his life. Baffin was an extremely well-mannered and gorgeous dog upon meeting. Black dogs don't always get the notice they should as they don't always photograph as well or come off quite a striking, but let me tell you, in person, he is a very striking young man! One of the most underrated ways of helping a rescue is by sharing their posts and animals in need of a home. Help us share Baffin's post far and wide and help us find his perfect family! Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet from Guardians of the Green Mile Inc. We are a group of individuals that have come together to save the lives of animals that are in danger of being euthanized. We raise funds to fully vet the animals and to provide them with a stable home until they are adopted. All of the dogs in our Rescue are in Foster homes while they are looking for their forever family. The only time we put a dog in boarding is for a Foster to go on vacation if another Foster is not able to care for them. We appreciate your taking the time to fill out the application to adopt one of our Guardians of the Green Mile pets. The questions that we ask are to only find the right fit for all of our dogs and the families that will be adopting them. Adoption donation is $300.00 for dogs over 1 year old and $350 with a $50.00 spay / neuter deposit for puppies/dogs under 1 year old.
