My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yellow came to Dakin with George who is also up for for adoption! The notes from her person suggest that she is a friendly girl but is on the more of the quiet side. While she did like a lot of "me" time in her last home, she also liked cuddling and being a lap cat. She liked pets and neck scratches, but wasn't a fan of being held. Being scared of noises, she would avoid the child in the home, yet at bedtime she would quietly lie her head on the child's pillow. Yellow lived with feline friends and did well with them, and while she wasn't into big time playing, she was curious about feathers and strings. In short, Yellow is a bit of a mystery and will need someone who will love her just the way she is. Maybe it's you!

Do you want to make a difference in a special kitty's life? Consider adopting one of Dakin's "Spirit Cats. These cats are fearful of people and don't require a lot of attention. What they do need is a place to park their paws in a quiet home where they'll be loved just the way they are. One day, you may find that you've earned their trust and get head butts and maybe even a bedtime buddy. But there are no guarantees. Your visitors will never see them because they'll quietly slip away and disappear into a closet. Spirit Cats may enjoy being around their own kind and sometimes make great companions for other cats. Are you ready to make a difference in a special kitty's life?
