Everyone meet Jasper!

Jasper came to us after his owner could no longer take care of him, to no fault of his own. He was very scared and confused about his new environment. But now he is starting to warm up and is a good boy. He is happiest when he is outside! He loves to go on walks or simply hang out in the back yard!

Since it has taken him a bit to warm up to us, slow introductions and multiple meet and greets would be best. He is a good dog but may need a calmer environment with a more experienced family. He would do best in a home with older (15+) or no children.

He does struggle with going back into his kennel here at the shelter, so we think he would do best with a home where he has free range of the house or at least a room that he can hang out in while you're away.

**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs about 50 lbs**

Once an application is filled out for animal of interest, the adoption coordinator and director will review app.
*Vet reference- will call vet and verify you are a client
*Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations
*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have pets
Can take 1-3 days for approval or denial. Please be patient with us.
Animals are not first come, first serve. We work to find the best homes possible for not only the adopters, but our animals.
