My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Oliver and I am a handsome white Australian Shepherd mix, about 7 months old, and I weigh 54 lbs. I’m an easygoing sweetheart with a beautiful disposition, friendly with people young and old, just shy at first meeting. I get along great with other dogs, enjoy playtime and doggy toys and any doggy treat will put a smile on my face. I'm affectionate, love pets and tummy rubs, snuggling beside you while we watch TV, or just hanging out together. I'm housebroken and know how to use a doggy door for potty breaks. I walk well on a leash, crate trained, and okay on a car ride, and my foster mom says I’m a good boy.

I just moved to Connecticut in search of a wonderful forever home and a much better future than what I started with, being found as a little puppy in San Antonio Texas running down a street with my mama and 4 siblings in tow. Fast forward to today and I’m vaccinated, chipped, and neutered, and my foster mom says some family will be very proud to call me their forever dog. Please stop by and meet me, but be prepared to fall in love and take me home!

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
