My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Thumbelina (A210590)! Thumbelina is just three months young and looking for a loving home at the shelter. Thumbelina came in to the shelter with a very painful eye that had a foxtail in it, we removed the foxtail and her eye has healed, but it has left a scar. It doesn't bother her one bit and although it may affect her vision in that eye a bit, she can see just fine, but does need to be an indoor only kitty since her vision is not 100%.

Thumbelina came in to the shelter scared at first, but who could blame her with that painful eye! Since she's been here, she has blossomed into the sweetest, most affectionate little love bug you'd ever want to meet! Thumbelina may act a little shy when she first meets you, but once you start petting her wonderful soft fur she starts purring and rubbing all over your hand and just can't help herself! Thumbelina has crawled into my lap for cuddles and I think she's going to be a lap kitty when she grows up!

Thumbelina would thrive in a quieter home with a loving patient guardian. If you are looking for an angel to love, please meet Thumbelina and give her a chance to steal your heart with her charming purrsonality!

All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

*The shelter is currently open for adoptions by appointment only. Please email us at adoptycas@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting.
For other shelter services, please call us at (530) 668-5287*

To adopt you must have a photo ID and proof of your current address. If not on your ID then bring in a bill with your name and your current address. If you rent you must provide a lease clearly stating the pet policy or provide a name and phone number for your landlord so that we may confirm the pet policy. If you own your home you may provide a mortgage statement or property tax bill for proof.

You must be 18 years or older to adopt.

If you wish to adopt a dog and have other dog(s) at home, please bring them with you to the shelter so that they may meet. Even if your dog is wonderful with other dogs, many of the dogs at the shelter have come in as strays so we have no history on them and need to be sure they get along with your pet(s).

If you have any other questions, please go to www.yolocountysheriff.com or call the shelter for more information.
