My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maverick is a timid and quiet pup who thrives in a calm environment. He walks exceptionally well on a leash and prefers the comfort of his crate at night, enjoying some outdoor time in the morning before it gets too hot.

While he’s possibly housebroken, we can’t guarantee it just yet. Maverick gets along well with other dogs but may be aggressive toward cats, so a dog-only home would be ideal. He’s a bit evasive and tends to avoid contact unless it’s on his terms, often ducking his head to shy away from the leash or hand.

Maverick can chew on whatever’s handy if he doesn’t have a designated chew toy, so providing him with appropriate toys is a must!

If you’re looking for a gentle companion who needs a patient and loving home, Maverick is ready to find his forever family!

Go meet their pets

After being approved by a team member, you'll be able to schedule a meet and greet with the pup that best matches your needs.

All of our pets are in private foster homes and many times the meeting will happen in a safe public location.

All animals are available to begin their home trials once the meeting has concluded and the rescue agrees to allow the pet to move forward to this stage.
