My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buzz is FIV+ But don’t let that discourage you. He is set to live a long healthy life because he has sooo much love to give.

We especially encourage a slow introduction to other cats in the home to establish harmonious living. Buzz loves to play but serious cat fights need to be avoided as the only way FIV transmits is through biting another cat and breaking the skin.

While not aggressive to other cats, Buzz was getting a little too rambunctious with kittens, and his newfound confidence also led to more posturing and defending around other male cats, so in the interest of safety, we have pulled Buzz from the Pawsitive Cafe. Currently he is seeking a new foster home, but he is also available for adoption at any time.

If you already have cats in your home, as with any new animal, a slow introduction (a process we can explain or refer you to resources for) should ensure harmonious living and no risk of his immune condition transferring.

Additional adoption info

As a small rescue with limited staff and volunteers, we are working on streamlining our adoption process to match cats and adopters as efficiently as possible, so we can save more cats left behind on the streets.

Go meet their pets

Our pets are fostered in local private homes, or occasionally in cat cafes or pet store adoption spaces for a limited time. When you are ready to meet our cats, the details will be arranged.

More about this rescue

Cats are abandoned or lost in our community everyday, largely left on their own to find shelter, food, and to reproduce at unsustainable rates.

It is our mission to improve the lives of street cats by following Trap/Neuter/Return protocols for unsocialized feral cats, and to rehabilitate and rehome cats and kittens that are friendly towards people.
