Tezzy Pooh is a playful but shy kitten that came to the shelter with her two siblings, Winnie and Mister. The three of them are still learning to trust people, but their curiosity helps them grow friendlier by the day! These siblings love to cuddle up together in their favorite hiding spots and have fun playing with all different kinds of toys. Tezzy is the most shy of the three, but with time and patience her true personality starts to shine through! This litter comes from a house where they were around other cats, dogs, and children. They may be shy at first in their new homes, but with patience and space they're likely to adapt to almost any environment. This may be done where the pet is located, please read Story it will list location or applications are on our website.

Owned a pet in the past, please list veterinarian pet went to.

Approved applicants will be asked to come to the shelter to meet the dog. (Cats/kittens are at other locations to visit)

Interested in a dog? Please fill out an application at our website, please list dogs name on application or if you don't see one, please list breed/gender you are looking for. (We can place you on a wish list) Once approved we will watch for a dog for you. When we get in animal that might be what you are looking for we will contact you to set up an appointment to meet the pet.

$60 Adoption fee for cats. $100 for kittens. $150 Adoption fee for dogs. $250 for puppies. All potential adopters must complete our Adoption Application.

** Most cats/kittens are located at PetSmart in Utica or PetSmart in Bloomfield Hills, unless noted **

Go meet their pets

Our adoptable cats are located at a PetSmart in Utica, PetSmart in Bloomfield Hills or a PetCo in Roseville. You can visit them at the stores when they are open.

For Dogs we are asking people to fill out an application online to get approved. Applications can be found here: https://macsshelter.org/dog-application. We will schedule a meet and greet of the dog after application approval.

We do take our dogs to different pet stores in the Metro Detroit area on Saturday's. You can visit our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/macs1935) to see where our next dog adoption event will be located. These events start at 11 AM - 2:30 PM.
