My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When we received a plea for help for Petey (and his brother Sky), we couldn't say no. His owner had started treatment for a brain tumor and was no longer physically able to care for them. Both boys were rescued several years ago and were loved fiercely; we are happy to be their safe haven until the right adopters come along.

Petey is a 6-year-old male Italian greyhound mix weighing in at exactly 30 lbs.

He knows basic commands, loves the outdoors, and is sweet as can be. He loves to please and hops around like a tiny kangaroo when excited. You couldn't ask for a more loving dog.

Petey. is missing a few toes from abuse he suffered as a puppy, but we think that just gives him character. We have updated his vetting and he is now neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Sky and Petey are not bonded and can (happily) be adopted separately.
