Meet Athena!

This gorgeous girl is a 3ish-year-old husky mix. She weighs in just over 70 lbs and is healthy as a horse.

Athena joined the rescue when her previous owner went to jail, leaving her behind without a place to call home. We have loved every second of getting to know her goofy personality.

So far, we know that Athena is sweet as pie and loves to be the center of attention. She quickly became BFFs with our other resident goofball, Duke, and the two can be found making friendship bracelets in between rounds of zoomies. Bonus points for being super smart and food-motivated!

True to her husky nature, Athena has higher energy needs and is happiest when exploring the great outdoors. She will make the best adventure buddy for someone experienced with or knowledgeable about huskies (or similar “working dog” breeds).

We have updated her vetting and she is now spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. In other words, there’s nothing standing in between Athena and her next adventure.
