Meet Calvin! This pittie mix came to the Shelter dressed in his best tuxedo. Despite his dapper looks, no animal owner came forward to reclaim him. Calvin has slowly but surely warmed up to Shelter staff and is ready to find his new family. Staff have observed that he is affectionate and playful. He has met dogs at the Shelter and after a brief “hello” with some sniffs – play bows and enjoys hanging with other dogs. From 10/5 through 10/31, we are having a “Spooky Low Adoption Fees” promotion. All cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies will have a reduced adoption fee of $31, while small animals will have a fee of $13. No tricks, all treats!

Come on in to meet your new BFF today at 1001 Rodriguez Street, Santa Cruz from 11-6pm. All adoptions are first come, first serve in person at the Shelter, and must be completed before 4:45pm.
