Ruth is a extra small, loving, happy dog. She loves to be outside on a walk or playing around with the other dog, as much as she likes to be inside on the sofa snuggling in your lap. She will find anything soft, whether your bed or a throw pillow, and snuggle into it.
Ruth is medium energy, resilient and can go with the flow. She will always be happy to see you, even if you just went into another room and came back!
Ruth is learning to walk nicely on a leash and will follow commands if food is involved. She can be stubborn when wants her way, and is still learning to get into the crate without assistance. She shares toys nicely with the resident dog. Ruth is so food motivated that she can steal food from other dogs and does best if fed separately.
Ruth can be catlike in how quietly and easily she can get around. She is learning to stay and wait, but will need to be monitored to ensure she doesn’t run out of the house. She is learning not to jump and will need continued training as she adjusts to a forever home.
