My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey groovy hoomans! I am Velma, from the Scooby-Doo litter. I am just as smart as my character on tv, and I’m told I’m even cuter I am waiting for the right forever family to adopt me, and I think that’s YOU! My foster family says I’m a sweetheart and adjusted well when meeting new kitten roommates. I may take a couple days to warm up, but then I am happy to be one of the gang. I am curious, playful, and good at playing ball. My favorite pastimes include chasing after toys, batting at string, and exploring every nook and cranny. I'll gladly takes you up on any invitation to snuggle. I love to curl up on your lap and keep you company. At 3.5 months old, I'm ready for adoption. The mystery is over – I am the one you’ve been looking for. See you soon!

The adoption fee for all cats and kittens is $190. This includes Microchip, FIV/FeLV testing, all age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/ear mite treatment, deworming, and spay/neuter with our veterinarian. When adopted, our cats and kittens are healthy, to the best of our knowledge. Many of our rescued kitties were not cared for adequately in their previous lives and are in need of significant vet care when they come to us. Frequently, we spend much more per cat or kitten than is covered by the adoption fee. Because Little Buddies is a predominately volunteer organization, we rely on donations and adoption fees to cover our veterinary and pet care expenses. We adopt to those in Northern Virginia, as well the Maryland and Washington, DC area.
