My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey. I'm Eddie. I'm a 3 year old blue pit, who came into the shelter as a stray. I've got my serious face on in that first picture, but there's a soft side to me too, you just have to get to know me first. I've been at the shelter for quite some time now, and I must say, I have NOT warmed up to the place. I'm looking for a quiet place to call home, but am often over looked because I am very scared here and my cage behavior can be quite intimidating. I don't mean anything by it, I just can't seem to help myself. I just get all worked up watching all these people walk by, sometimes people stop and stare at me then walk away, and listening to those other dogs barking like mad, it all just gets to me. You really have to meet me outside to see my softer side. I am a playful guy, who grew up without the luxury of toys, but man am I making up for lost time! I must say, I'm as smart as I am handsome. I already know sit, wait, leave it and there are plenty more in the works. I learn fast so pretty soon the L.A.P. people gonna have to add on to this story for me. Hee hee. Did I mention how nicely I walk on leash? Not to brag, but I walk like a dream, I don't pull at all, not even when I see other dogs. I'm just about 3 years old, so I'm still raring to go, but those puppy days are far behind me. I'm waiting for a dog savvy owner to realize I'm the dog they've been waiting for. If you have the patience to teach me this world is full of wonderful trusting people, and you have a quiet lifestyle to help me forget about this place, give one of those L.A.P. people a call to set up a meeting for us.
