MEET TAYSO! - I am in a foster home, please contact the shelter to meet me!
Tayso is a big goofball who enjoys drinking from the hose, chasing after toys, and sitting in your lap like he is a Chihuahua! Tayso is potty trained and does well left alone, so he would make a great companion for somebody who wants a dog that already has the basics down. Tayso would enjoy a low-traffic home with an adopter who experienced with Rottweilers or other large breed dogs. Rottweilers are a working breed of dog that was originally used for herding to protect herds of cattle against predators like wolves and bears. For this reason, Rottweilers tend to be vigilant and reserved dogs with high energy and intelligence. It takes him time to warm up to strangers, but once you are in, you will get to see his amazing personality! He walks great on leash and has lived with other dogs in the past, and he could do well with another very friendly and tolerant dog in the future pending a dog meet.
Check out my video!
Tayso is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team.
For more information on Tayso or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Also, be sure to check out our:
