I am Lutra. My human mom says I need to write this so I can get my own family. I may not be as beefy as my brothers, but I’m a little sweetheart. If there’s something I don’t like though, I will let you know about it. I have the voice of a rhino (whatever that is. It sounds big and scary) and will raise the roof if I’m upset. That’s hardly ever, though. I’m pretty chill. Not much bothers me. I like to play with my siblings and enjoy life. Speaking of playing, I definitely need a play mate in my new home. You could adopt one of my brothers (good luck telling us apart) or one of my sisters to keep me company. I like the adult humans I’ve met, but I’m not sure about the little humans. I’ve never met any. They might be too scary or they might be great buddies. We’ll have to see. I haven’t met any animals other than cats, so you’d have to do slow and careful intros to any animals you have. The foster siblings have taught me manners and how to respect other cats. I have also learned how to use the litter box, scratch on approved scratching surfaces, and I’m learning how to get my claws trimmed. I’m still not convinced my human mom isn’t trying to cut my paws off. I’m an all around excellent boy. If you think I’d be a good match, talk to my agent.

Since our formation in early 2013, we have helped save thousands of cats and dogs throughout Idaho from neglect, abuse, and death. Many of our rescues come from the Burley Idaho Animal Shelter where PAWS has transformed what was once a high kill facility to a shelter where every adoptable animal gets a second chance! PAWS also takes in stray pets from all over Idaho including Twin Falls, Boise, Nampa, and Caldwell. We work our very hardest to respond to every call for help!
PAWS Rescue, Inc. saves all breeds of cats and dogs of all ages as well as animals who have been hit by cars, shot, abandoned, abused, and neglected.
Rescued animals are placed in loving foster homes or transferred to other no kill partner facilities giving them a chance to find the perfect forever home. Our efforts give these deserving animals a second chance at a happy life.
Every animal receives veterinary evaluation and care, including spay/neuter and vaccines, as well as treatment for any other medical issue they may have. No animal is ever euthanized due to expense.
