My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you ready to meet your new favorite companion? Tilly is a 2-year-old ~40lb Aussie mix with a dazzling pair of eyes-one brown and one blue-that will steal your heart in an instant. This beautiful girl is not just a feast for the eyes; she's also a bundle of joy and personality!

Tilly has a moderate energy level and is best suited as the only dog in the home, where she can shine as the star of the show. She's incredibly smart and food-motivated, making her a delight to train. Watch out for her adorable little dance when it's mealtime-she's got some serious moves!

Fully house-trained and almost crate-trained (she just needs a moment to get cozy), Tilly will quickly become a cherished member of your household. While she may take a little time to warm up to new faces, her loyalty and affection are well worth the wait. Once she trusts you, Tilly will shower you with all the love and devotion you could ask for.

Tilly's favorite pastimes include playing with toys and running around the yard, so she'll keep you entertained and active. She's looking for a home where she can be your one and only, where she'll be your loyal sidekick and best friend.

If you're ready to welcome a smart, loving, and uniquely special dog into your life, Tilly is waiting for you! Come meet her and see how this one-of-a-kind girl can make your life even brighter.

Tilly is currently being fostered in Clark, NJ. Her adoption fee is $425.

To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
