Mystically beautiful Dolce is as sweet and gentle as her name suggests. She was found with a mama kitty who was caring for her along with her own kittens, so it’s understandable that this little one is a bit shy in new situations but snuggles right in as soon as she feels safe and secure. She loves to lay on her foster mom’s chest to be petted and talked to and loved on. Her gorgeous tortoiseshell coat is dark as a deep night sky highlighted by starry flashes of soft gold, a dreamy look for this precious doll. A home without young children would probably be best for her, but one with a little extra TLC would be just perfect! Could darling Dolce bring her deeply affectionate and gentle spirit to the circle of your love?

All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.

You may visit The Cat House daily, except major holidays, 1-4 pm, by appointment only. We also have an off-site adoption center located inside Petco at 4144 N. Blackstone at Ashlan in Fresno, which is open open daily 10am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-6pm.

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.
