My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adopt Stilts!

This 1 year old 13lb MinPin mix is FULL of personality! His foster mom says he's so sweet and loving, and he has made so many new friends in the neighborhood on his daily walks!

Stilts has met both dogs and children that he has been great with. He loves long walks plus backyard play time. His ideal family will exercise him actively and take him on all of their adventures! He is potty trained, and working on perfecting his leash walking skills.

When Stilts is not exploring the neighborhood, he spends his time cuddling on the sofa snuggled up in a blankie. He gives hugs constantly which his foster mom says is his most endearing feature.
Stilts also loves toys!

This handsome boys perfect home setting would have a fenced yard for him to run around and play freely in - he is lightning fast! Or, a family willing to walk him regularly (right now he's walking 4 miles a day with his foster family).

If you're interested in adopting Stilts, apply today!Hes an awesome little guy who will make a great addition to a loving family.

Additional adoption info

Project Precious has an ever changing group of adoptable dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, please check in frequently to see if your forever friend is waiting for you!

If you are interested in adopting a Project Precious pet, please email ProjectPreciousRescue@gmail.com OR ProjectPreciousRescue2@gmail.com for an adoption application. After receiving your filled out application, we will screen your information and determine if we have a pet that is a good fit for you. There will then be a introduction and home visit, and if all goes well, an adoption contract and fee. When submitting an application, please bear in mind that we do this on our own time in addition to working paying jobs, so it may take a couple of days to get a response. Our adoption fees vary depending on age and type of animal (dog or cat).

More about this rescue

Project Precious Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization dedicated to animal rescue.

We are a small scale rescue based in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Our animals are placed in carefully screened foster homes while they are waiting to find their forever homes - we do not have a facility/shelter.

The mission of PPR is to rescue adoptable animals who may otherwise face homelessness or death, and find them loving forever homes. Our goal is to provide the best veterinary care, and we strive to place our animals in carefully screened homes that best match their needs. We rely solely on donations, and do not profit from our work. We rescue on our terms - dogs and cats, and do not discriminate against age/breed. PPR believes every animal deserves a second chance!
