My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Fairy was brought in by a community member on September 7, 2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Are you ready for a bit of enchantment in your life? Say hello to Fairy, a truly spellbinding feline who's ready to bring joy and warmth to your home. Fairy is not just friendly-she's a cuddle connoisseur! She'll make sure to sprinkle her affection on you with every purr and nuzzle. Her open, loving nature means she'll warm up to you faster than a butterfly's wings can flutter. Her playful spirit and endearing personality are truly magical, and she's ready to charm her way into your heart. Fairy is a proud member of the "No Cats Allowed" club, and would prefer to be the only cat feigning for your attention! Fairy does have dental disease, we recommend checking in with your family veterinarian to monitor. If you're looking for a companion who'll add a dusting of pixie dust to your life, look no further. Come meet Fairy and see how this mystical kitty can make your world a bit brighter!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
