Behavior improved, able to take out of kennel with no issue, able to complete full invasive handling, seeks attention from handler.

Dog is placed on Needs Rescue due to length of stay, low handling tolerance on intake and low growling when attempting to pet.
Rescue will need to sign waiver prior to Odie leaving the shelter.

Large Dog Observation Notes:
Intake Type: Stray
Sociability: When taking dog out of kennel, focused on environment and never checks in with handler or seeks attention.
Handling: When attempting to pet along body, stiffens posture, puffs lip, intermitant low growls. Stopped attempt at invasive handling for saftey.
D2D Like sized: Very interested in other dogs, meets nose to not and walks away without any negative reaction.
D2D Smaller: unknown
Food/Treats: unknown
Kennel Presence: Barking and hyperstimulated in kennel, dilated eyes, stiffens posture when handler attempts offer hand or talk to. Able to leash and take out but handler has to go slow be very careful due to dogs stiff non affiliative body language.
Additional Notes: Non affiliative at this time. dog was stiff and non social during intake with staff as well. Able to leash when going slow but any invasive handling(Body hug, lifting paws, checking mouth) would be dangerous at this time.
