Meet Nancy, a four-year-old, 11-pound Chihuahua mix with a cautious but
loving nature. At first, Nancy may be hesitant about being handled, but with
patience and a few treats, she quickly warms up, revealing her affectionate
side. This little gem walks well on a leash and is at ease hopping into the
car, making her a great candidate for future adventures.
Once Nancy settles into her new home and feels more confident, she
shows potential as a wonderful travel companion, ready to join you on
outings near and far. Her gentle demeanor and eagerness for attention will
make her a loyal and loving friend.
Nancy is searching for a family who understands the importance of
patience and trust. If you're looking for a sweet, small dog to become your
new best friend, come meet Nancy—she’s ready to steal your heart and be
your loyal companion for life.
Nancy’s adoption fee of $225 covers essential services such as
spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary
wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Please don't hesitate to schedule an appointment to meet Nancy during adoption hours, Thursday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, by calling 602-971-1334.

Home Fur Good has trained adoption counselors to review and question any potential problems/issues with application. We do require an adoption fee which ranges for dogs $150-$300 and for cats $50-$100. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked.
If another dog or dogs are present in the household we require a meet and greet prior to adoption. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. We do not adopt our rescues out without meeting person that will be responsible - no "gift" adoptions. We contract that if cat/dog must be relinquished they are returned to us. If there is a change of ownership we must be kept informed who responsible party is. Fees are non refundable.

More about this rescue
Home Fur Good is a non profit no kill animal shelter located in the NE Valley. We take a majority of our cats and dogs from County, many who have treatable medical conditions and would otherwise be put down. We assess physical and behavior and work with the cats/dogs to find the best suitable match. It is our goal that each cat or dog that comes to our shelter ultimately be placed in their "furever" homes.
We also operate a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic each Sunday. We want to help community be able to care for and keep their animals safe. We do not charge vet fee only fee for vaccine and microchip. Additionally we have a low cost dental clinic each Wednesday. Check our website for more details.
