Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sheyla is a full of life cuddle bug that's been waiting for her new family. She's a big fan of walks where she can sniff every blade of grass, having the occasional zoomies, and treats. Though she does love to run around and have a fun time, she needs a little help being chilled out while going through heartworm treatment. The best environment for Sheyla is a calmer home with all adults, and one where she gets the doggy spotlight all on her. Sheyla is currently in a foster home, you can reach her foster at Erinmurray1228@gmail.com with any questions or to set up a meet and greet!
Did you know I am a ‘Have a Heart' fund recipient. I have heartworms that will need to be treated in the home, but through this fund, the Humane Society of Charlotte has a voucher to assist with fees for the treatment. The treatment at their partnering vet clinics is done at a reduced rate for our adopters. Our partner clinics will provide me with top notch care and support during the treatment. I am in need of an adopter that will maintain a great relationship with my vet to help get me heartworm free!

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Charlotte believes in working to improve our community by creating new, loving families, and building a world where there are no more homeless and unwanted animals. This is an ongoing process — for every animal we can connect with a new family, another animal in need comes to HSC’s shelter. As a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the HSC relies on the generous support of animal lovers, grants, bequests, and fees for service.
HSC is not affiliated with any other animal welfare organizations and we do not receive government funding.
