My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet adorable 5 year old, 13 lb purebred Brussels Griffon, Maddy. Maddy became a member of the PAC-OC upon being surrendered by her owner for having too many dogs. Maddy had been used as a registered AKC breeding dam-from champion stock. Maddy was adopted quickly into a home where she was a very sweet, loving, and loyal companion to her mom. However, Maddy appears not to like men, as she barked at her dad. She did well with the women at our adoption center, and even with all of the women at our vet's office. Thus, we are looking for a quieter woman-only home where she can be a typical Velcro Brussels Griffon. Maddy also seems to prefer to be an only dog. Maddy just had a vet exam, and was recently diagnosed with a low-grade heart murmur. It will need to be monitored in the future. She should also have a dental cleaning within about the next six months. If you would like to meet Maddy, go to adoptocpets.org/adopt to apply
