Meet Billy Kane, a spirited feline who thrives on playfulness and cuddles.
His outgoing nature is infectious, and he's never one to shy away from affection. He has a knack for making people feel special, always seeking to share his love and attention. His charm is undeniable, with a personality that radiates warmth and friendliness.
In fact his charm is exactly what got him rescued! Billy Kane kept showing up at a house, they were kind and got him trapped and reached out to us to take him in.
Billy Kane isn't just a cat, he's a companion. He's a source of joy, a confidante, and a friend. His zest for life is contagious, and his cuddles are the best in town.
Billy Kane isn't just looking for a home, he's looking for a family. He's looking for someone who will appreciate his affectionate nature, someone who will play with him and cuddle him, someone who will love him as much as he'll love them.
His foster parents aren't sure how he would do with other dogs and cats so he would need slow introductions, or he would be happy being an only pet as well.
Adopt Billy Kane and let his love light up your life.
Billy Kane is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
