Meet Franklin, or "Frankie", as his foster mom calls him. Franklin came to us as an atypical owner surrender.

The family who surrendered Franklin was duped by a woman promoting herself as a rescue. She asked for a $300 donation to put towards Franklin's 'medical bills' and then was never heard from again🥺

The family who took Franklin in was not in a position to keep him so he was surrendered to SCFBR.

Franklin is 2️⃣ years old and on the smaller side at just 19 pounds. Patti, his foster mom ,describes him as a velcro Frenchie who LOVES people. He does not like to be left alone for long periods of time; we will bark his disapproval!

He is currently fostering with both male and female dogs and gets along better with the girls. He has picked a couple of fights with the other male dog in the house.

Frankie walks well on a leash, uses the doggy door, and is crate trained. He is working towards being completely potty-trained. Frankie loves to play fetch is very fond of playing in his water 💦 bowl.

Franklin is currently being fostered in Riverside, CA.

We do adopt out of state with approved transportation. Rescue does not cover this cost.
