Meet Iori, a kitten with a heart full of playfulness and a dash of shyness. Iori was born in the spring of 2024 with her sister Kyo.
Her curious nature is evident in her love for exploring tunnels, always ready for a new adventure.
Though a bit reserved at first, she warms up to kind souls, especially those bearing her favorite treats. Iori doesn't like too busy of home and would do best alone or with one other cat friend.
Iori's playful spirit and unique personality make her a delightful companion. She's not just a pet; she's a friend, a confidante, a source of joy.
If you're looking for a bond that transcends words, Iori is the one for you. Adopt Iori and let her bring sunshine into your life.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
