Launi is a sweetheart of a girl, with soft, rabbit-like fur. Launi is affectionately called Momma by her foster family. She is a young, small adult, who was rescued with her 5 kittens. She has been an outstanding momma and would love to be
adopted with one of her babies (who are now a year old - Aiden, Elinor and Astrid). Her foster family has given her plenty of love and patience, and she now likes to sit in laps for love and pets. She is such a sweet, beautiful girl and watching her grow from a terrified feral mom to her trusting, gentle self has been an amazing and rewarding journey for her foster family. She gets along great with the other cats and tolerates the her foster family dogs. She is curious, loves toys and treats. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
