My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ghost is a very friendly and happy 1 year old dog. He is a Chow-Chow mix who is looking for a good home. Ghost was purchased as a puppy and spent the last few months in a basement. He is starved for love and attention. Ghost will need an active family that will provide him with some basic training. He wants so badly to please his person however was not taught too much. He is smart and thrives with positive reinforcement. Ghost is going to make a wonderful family dog if given the opportunity.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must be at least 21 years of age.
An application must be completed and can take up to a week to process. Once an application is approved, family meets, dog meets (if applicable) and home checks must be completed.

Go meet their pets

Our orphanage is open to the public Monday-Friday from 12pm to 7pm, with the exception of the second Wednesday of each month during which we are closed for major cleaning.
On weekends you can visit our orphans between 12pm and 5pm Saturday and Sunday. We also have some adorable adoptable cats and kittens at offsite locations: PetSmart in Marlton and PetValu stores of Cherry Hill, Marlton and Voorhees.

The Animal Orphanage of Voorhees is a loving place that welcomes 2,000 homeless pets each year. Our shelter is open intake, which means our doors are open to dogs and cats of any age, medical condition or breed. We are a no-kill facility and do not euthanize for space.
We are a non-profit organization and depend on donations and volunteers to keep our shelter doors open.
