My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blue-12+ Kid by Kid, Dog by Dog

Mack can be cautious at first with new handlers, he prefers to investigate prior to becoming friendly; he does show interest in people and the environment. With play he can wind up and become jumpy and mouthy towards the handler, but he stopped as soon as the hander stopped interacting. When he is the one to first initiate contact, Mack loves being rubbed on, though he will pull away from anything he is uncomfortable with. While cautious about meeting the stranger, with time he did choose to investigate, after the fact he did not care to interact further. We didn't see any resource guarding, though at first he avoided both handler and bowl. Eventually Mack came back around and ate food from the bowl while handler was holding it. Given time and the appropriate handling Mack warms-up to be a playful, young man.
