My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, I'm Olive, the feline embodiment of curiosity and energy! I'm a bit of a goofball, but hey, who isn't? Im an independent lady with a big curiosity for life. I've got energy to spare and a playful, crazy side that'll keep you laughing. I love exploring new nooks and crannies, and chasing after anything I get my little paws on. But don't let my independence fool you. I adore morning snuggles, they're the best way to start the day. Im happy as long as Im with you or can get to you easily. No hiding!!

Now, how did I end up here, you ask? Well, it's quite the tale! One day I wasnt feeling too well. Been living on the streets my whole life. It was starting to wear on me and I was feeling quite hungry and tired. I justed wanted a warm place to lay my head. So I decided to go to a nearby home and luckily for me, there was a very nice lady who Contacted Little Mews. I met my new foster mommy shortly after that. So, why should you adopt me? Well, if you're in need of a lively, playful, and slightly goofy companion, I'm your girl! I can promise you endless entertainment and a lifetime of love.

Oh my Fosters mom said I forgot to mention a few things. Since I have lived on my own and had to fend for myself for so long, I didnt learn proper etiquette when it comes to socializing with other cats. I really want to play with other cats but mom says Im too ruff and scare the other Foster cats and even make them mad at times. So it would be best if I live in a house where Im the only kitty. She says I have something called FIV. Not sure what that is but she said If I stay inside from now on and stay out of trouble. I will live a long health life.

Olive has a slight tilt, but it didn't affect her in any way and she has been cleared by the vet for adoption.

More about this rescue

Little Mews is an all volunteer, non profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization. We take in cats and kittens from a variety of situations, most are stray, unwanted, neglected or abused. We can also refer you to other organizations in the area that have dogs, cats and other animals for adoption and have information about low cost spay and neuter options.

All our cats and kittens who are ready for adoption have been checked by a vet, vaccinated for FVRCP, rabies (if over 4 months), tested for Feline Leukemia, FIV, wormed, and spayed/neutered if old enough. Any health conditions are treated so that the cats can be adopted as healthy as possible.

Our goal is to find safe, healthy, forever homes for cats and to promote spay/neuter so that the number of unwanted cats is lowered every year. We want each cat and kitten adopted to a home where it will live forever.
