My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Good day to you! My name is Clove and I am so pleased to meet you. Did you know that cloves, the spice, were once one of the very most valuable treasures in the world? That`s just like me. I am a valuable treasure and I am just right to be your most prized companion. I am certain of it!

I am a darling girl, both in looks and personality. I am a bit timid around people that I don`t know, but I warm up very quickly and can be counted on to enjoy attention and play time. I like to petted all over and I enjoy playing with feathery toys best. I have bountiful energy to have fun and explore my surroundings, which I would love to do in your home.

I get along fairly well with the other cats here, though they sometimes intimidate me. With patience and support I believe that I can adjust to living with other well-mannered animals. I mostly prefer the attention of people and I like crunchy treats now and then too. Don`t I sound like the perfect addition to your life and family. I bet that we are a match meant to be. Hurry on down to MaxFund to get to know me and you will see that my value is beyond measure!!

More about this shelter

The MaxFund is a non-profit organization that was established in May of 1988 to provide medical care for injured pets with no known owners, and to seek out new homes for these animals once they have recovered. The MaxFund is a no-kill dog and cat shelter. MaxFund assists hundreds of people and animals each year by trying to make the correct match between owner and pet. MaxFund adopts our animals to Colorado residents only.

The MaxFund is a TRUE no-kill shelter. There is no pre-sorting of animals into "adoptable" and "non-adoptable" categories, discarding the so-called "unadoptable." The MaxFund takes every animal it has the space for. EVERY animal is kept until its owner is found or it is placed in a new adoptive home.
