Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Trip is a really friendly, wonderful cat. We’ve had him for years and it breaks my heart that we are no longer the best home for him. About two years ago we added a new family member and since then he’s begun to have behavioral issues, presumably anxiety, according to the vet. Our newest family member seems to give him such anxiety that he spite pees outside his box (no medical reason), anxiety vomiting, and he’s begun to eat non-edible items. Despite our attempts to prevent this by eliminating the availability, stimulating him and engaging with him on a daily basis he continues to worsen. After evaluation the vet presented us with three options: continue as we are and he will most likely remain in a state of constant anxiety, give him a daily sedative medication, or give him the opportunity of a new home . We discussed this issue at length as a family and determined what is best for him is a new home with a fresh start.
Adoption fee for supplies/food for him upon adoption.
