Dear Family,
My name is Skelly. I've found this community who loves me and has lifted me up from the darkest time of my life.
Kind people found me, scared and under a tree last month. I ran out of will and energy and I was close to giving up. My body was weak and my soul was tired. Someone gave me a chance, they brought me in and found some people to help me.
Today I have one last ask for the family who cared for me when I needed it most.
I am looking for my very own family now, I am told, I get one of those and that is the last thing I need to do. So a little about me
I'm a good boy!
I'm between 2 and 3 years old
I am crate trained
I am housebroken
I do well with kitties
I do well with doggos
I am highly food motivated, a connoisseur if you will
I am a snuggle bug
I've learned about the doggy door
I am well versed with the magic of the drive through windows, I'm gaining weight, I look like a real boy!
Nothing has slowed me down. I like to jump up and give you hugs, I'm trying to be affectionate but foster momma says I need to not jump so much
I am taking my medicine like a good boy and MAD told me that they will take care of all that until I am 100% again
Here is my plea, I've never had a holiday, a Christmas, a turkey day, I want to feel the magic of helping cut the big birds, taste testing and making sure it's ok for my humans to eat! I want to open presents, just for me! I want to have a family surrounding me. I want to go home
If you are my family and you are ready to welcome me home, I promise I will be the best boy forever.

We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
