My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m real and Rowdy…come on and say howdy! Hey there! If you’re lookin’ for a scruffy dog with whom you can wrangle up a good time, I’m your guy. Hailing from Karnes County, Texas, I brought nothing but excitement with me to SNIPSA. I love my walks, I love my toys and most of all–I love to be in the center of alllll the action! As a Poodle/Terrier mix, it’s no surprise that I have an outgoing personality. Poodles are prized for their goofy personalities, intelligence and active nature. You will want to ensure that I have friends to rough n’ tumble with, or strategies on hand to keep me entertained. I may even enjoy going to doggy daycare when I’m not hanging out with you! I dote over my humans and will make the most loyal companion. So, if my curly hair caught your eye, don’t pass me over…I’ve got the biggest ticker! Apply today and bring home a little country-rock-and-roll!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
