Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet little guy was found in the middle of an East TX highway. His finder scooped him up, dewormed and bathed him and took him to the vet where he got a rabies shot and a negative fecal. He's also had 1st round of vaccines, flea/tick meds, heartworm prevention and will be neutered next week (around 9/16).
He weighs 9.2 and is estimated to be 4.5 months, so he won't get much bigger at all. He definitely looks like a dachshund mix.
He's super chill and loves to be held; rides well in the car; is great in a crate, sleeps in one all night, no accidents in his crate or play yard, even overnight. He will need some reinforcement training, but is well on his way to being potty trained. It's likely someone else has put in some time with him as well.
He's not a barker and is good with all people and kids so far - he played chase with my 3 year old grandson. He's probably good with cats, but hasn't been around too many yet. He showed no interested in a kitten in a kennel next to him briefly.
Adoption fee includes neuter and all vetting. Foster-to-adopt is a great way to see if Frankie is a perfect fit for your family!
