**Courtesy Post** I’ve had the pleasure of caring for Toby for the past four months, and during this time, I’ve seen what a truly special dog he is. Toby is about three and a half years old, up-to-date on all his shots, and neutered. He’s a healthy boy who’s ready to find his forever home. Toby has a gentle nature, but he’s also a bit shy, especially around men he doesn’t know. He can be reactive in those situations, so he needs someone who understands his boundaries and can give him the time he needs to feel safe. With patience and love, I’ve seen him warm up and become loyal and affectionate. If you’re looking for a dog who will be deeply loyal and just needs a bit of extra understanding, Toby might be the perfect match. He’s been through a lot, but with the right person or family, I know he’ll thrive. Toby requires a home with no kiddos, no little critters or farm animals. Toby will do fine with cats though. Toby needs a securely fenced yard. He will keep it free of squirrels and other varmints for you! There is a small rehoming fee for Toby. Interview
Once your adoption application is submitted, someone with Russell Rescue, Inc. will contact you.

Home Check
You will be required to provide a vet reference and allow us to send a volunteer to your home.
4.
Meet the Pet
Once you are approved to adopt from Russell Rescue, Inc., arrangements will be made for a meet-and-greet with your dog's foster parent.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
You are required to sign an adoption contract with Russell Rescue, Inc.
6.
Pay Fee
All of our Russell Rescue, Inc. dogs are fully vetted and spayed or neutered. The adoption fee is $275, unless otherwise noted.
7.
Take the Pet Home
You are on your way home with your Jack Russell! Give them some time to adjust to their new surroundings. Contact us with any questions.
