Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This delightful mixed-breed brindled beauty is five years old and weighs in at 44 pounds. Let's help her find the home she has been longing for!
After sitting in the kennel for months with no break, Piper is now learning what it's like to live with a wonderful foster family! It only took a few days for her to realize that life with a family is better than she ever dreamed! Not only is she house-trained and crate-trained, she gets along well with her fur brother as well!
While Piper appreciates her independence, she enjoys hanging with other pups and plays very well with them. We think she'd love to have another playful pup to hang with! Piper is very smart and loves all sorts of brain games. She knows a few commands including "sit, paw, and stay" and will benefit from lots of enrichment and mental stimulation. Some of her favorite treats include biscuits and yogurt! Her foster family is able to take away toys and treats with no issue.
Piper is a rockstar on her leash and looks forward to her daily walks. When she sees you grab her leash, she sits still and waits patiently for you to get her ready for her walk. Doesn't she look cute in her little pink coat? If you're up for a road trip, Piper will make an excellent copilot. She enjoys her daily drives and does very well in the car. Daily exercise and a yard for her to enjoy is a must for this cutie pie.
While Piper is thriving in her foster home, it's important her new family be patient and give her time to adjust. She can be a bit timid at first and but positive encouragement and reinforcement has done wonders for her. She is very tolerant and will make a lucky family very happy for years to come.
Based on our evaluation, we feel Piper could do well in an active home with adults or families with kids ages five and up. She could be an ideal addition to your current pack as she finds comfort being around other dogs. We are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby!
