My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello - I'm Jacinta! My sister is Liria and we are very close. It would be great if we could be adopted together. I came from New Mexico and my Foster Mom speaks Spanish. My name means "Hyacinth. We are named after flowers because we continue to blossom since arriving in CO, and we are sure to do that with you too! We are not the cuddling type, and probably won't do great with little kids. But we do enjoy being petted and will strike up a purr. We will never fail to put on a show of acrobatic play for you any time!

Additional adoption info

Adoptable animals are located at our Taft Campus at 2200 N Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524 or for more info call 970-484-8516.

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
