Yogi is a two-year old, green-eyed love bug who has been very good with kids and dogs alike (no info on cats). He gently greets those he meets with licks and happily accepts snuggles and pats. He weighs 68 pounds.
He is very good on leash and, though interested in birds and squirrels especially, he doesn't make a beeline for them. He likes to walk with a toy or bone which makes everyone smile.
He is so playful and interested in his new environment that we don't quite know if he knows basic commands--he definitely knows "no" and seems like he'd be a quick study.
While he'll sleep in his crate, he'd rather snuggle up next to us at night. He wants nothing more than to be our best friend and loves being around his people the most - he'd love it if you worked from home or brought him to work, but does just fine for stints at home alone so far. He will make an excellent family dog.
Yogi is not food aggressive and wants the attention of our female pit mix - often giving her a lick in passing and trying to get her to play.
He'll hop right in the car, he's made trips to a winery and a pet store for a bath (he was SO well behaved).
Yogi's just completed his two-week decompression and has made incredible strides. He can be a little unsure of strangers in his own environment and needs new people to let him warm up. He has so much love to give!
