My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Reggie: Your New Best Friend! You haven't truly experienced unconditional love until you've had Reggie's head resting gently on your lap, his soulful eyes gazing up at you with warmth and affection. Reggie is the epitome of sweetness—a pocket pittie, at only 36 pounds, with a shiny black coat that's as striking as his personality is endearing. About Reggie: ï»ݷ.5 years old House and crate trained Knows 'sit' and 'stay' (and eager to learn more!) Friendly with people, dogs, and kids Well-mannered, gentle, and easygoing Reggie is the perfect blend of youthful energy and calm demeanor. Whether he's enjoying a 2-hour walk or cozying up after a game of tug-of-war, he's always up for love and snuggles. Reggie is particularly gentle with small, fragile dogs and has no resource-guarding tendencies. Adventures with Reggie: Loves visiting breweries, wineries, and even Home Depot! Rides quietly in the car, napping on the way. Great with large dogs and kids in foster care. Looking for: A human who will give him lots of love and attention A playful pup sibling would be ideal! If you're ready for a loyal, loving, and sweet companion, Reggie is waiting for you. He's ready to steal your heart-don't miss out on bringing this lovebug home!October 20, 2024, 12:51 pm

Go meet their pets

We are a rescue that is dependent on volunteers as we do not have a physical building. We rent space at a kennel in Upperco, Md. If you would like to meet one of our dogs please contact us to make arrangements. Thanks!

More about this rescue

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Please help us help the animals!
