Bertie here and boy do I have a story to tell! After being found all alone in a park, I was in pretty rough shape. But thanks to my amazing rescuers, I'm all healed up and ready to find my furever home! Just look at my before and after pics - I'm a whole new pup! Even though I'm all healed up, I still have some special care requirements. You see, I can't really handle the heat. I'm a bit of a snorter and I really love to sniff and explore everything around me - it's like I have a built-in radar! Because of my snorty ways, I'll need a family that understands my breed and my needs. But don't worry, I promise to be worth it! Now, even though I'm a pretty big fan of the sniff, I also love to play. I do need some work on my house training, but I'm getting better every day with the right person by my side. Just think of all the fun we'll have together - I'm sure we'll become best friends in no time! Oh, and just to let you know, I'm not too sure about other dogs. I'm a bit picky with my canine companions, so if you have any furry siblings, I recommend a meet and greet to see if we're a good match. I'm not too sure about cats either, so please take that into consideration. Kids over 13…

Adopters will complete an application that can be found on our website @ www.wwk9rescue.com or you can email us at westleyswishk9rescue@gmail.com. Applications typically take 48-72hours to process.. Our application request includes your contact information, personal references, vet reference and several questions so that we will be able to assist you in finding your "soul mutt". Home checks will be required prior to adoption. Please note that rentals/leases will need landlord contact information or written agreement and home owners will need a proof of ownership form (i.e. deed, payment book, or written confirmation from mortgage company).
Adoption fees: $450 unless otherwise specified.. All dogs will have at minimum: Rabies vaccination, distemper vaccination series, microchipped, as well as spay/neuter prior to adoption.
