My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

From Mackie's time in foster home:

She also has a bit of separation anxiety and starts barking and whimpering for the first 5 or so mins whenever I leave her (totally understandable!) and then she quiets down.

Otherwise, she is glued to my side and watching me 24/7, which makes her excellent off-leash. She has a great recall. Whenever you say "Mackie come! she comes flying. She is like a little energizer bunny! I don't think it is possible for her to get tired lol. She ran 5k with me thursday morning and did not get tired at all.

She has not met a dog she doesn't like. And she is quite a sweet little cuddle bug. She is housebroken and crate-trained. Just does not like to be left alone at all. Would probably do well in a household where there is another dog.

But if you are looking for a buddy that you can bring anywhere, that sticks close to you on and off-leash, and that you can bring on a run, hike, or bike ride- Mackie is your girl. She just wants to be with you, no matter the activity.
