Meet Babydoll!

This girl is not waiting for New Years to start a new journey, she's starting now! Babydoll is a sweet, front declawed, mellow girl looking for a family to call her own! Babydoll is a bit on the hefty side and is working with the shelter staff to start leading a healthier lifestyle! She was given a clean bill of health other than needing to hit her step goal daily and is ready to find her very own home!

Babydoll has done well with other cats and would likely do well with kids and dogs too! She really loves people but isn't pushy if you're busy, she'll come back at a better time! She loves chin scratches, lap time, and REALLLY enjoys a good brushing! Apply for Babydoll today!

We are the only shelter in Cedar County, Iowa. We take in homeless dogs and cats and help them to find carefully screened, lifelong, and nurturing homes. FOA serves Cedar County, Iowa.

When you adopt, you’re not just giving a deserving dog or cat a home. You’re also reducing the demand for puppy mills and other industrial-scale breeding operations that put profits before animal welfare. Homeless, scared, abused, neglected or surrendered, whatever the circumstance may be, our goal is to give all animals the chance to feel loved, wanted and special. After all, their souls are pure, and they deserve only the best from us.
